The maintenance team at Willow Brook Christiam Village is seeking an maintenance professional for a full-time entry level position. This qualified individual will perform hands-on maintenance tasks while maintaining a safe, clean and sanitary environment for our residents.
Tasks of this position may include (but are not limited to) performing basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry duties, painting and drywall repairs, lifting and removing furniture, preparing homes for move-in, assisting with snow removal and surface preparation, completing maintenance requests submitted by residents, ensuring cleanliness of home exteriors, and assisting residents with any other maintenance needs.
Qualified applicants should have maintenance experience (plumbing, electrical, carpentry), the ability to organize and complete tasks in a efficient manner with attention to detail and quality, the ability to lift and move furniture and other objects, the ability to work without close supervision, and good communication skills. The ability to operate a skid steer loader (Bob Cat) and a CDL license are a plus in consideration of applicants. Must be able to work some weekends and holidays (on rotation) and a willingness to work indoors and outdoors year around. As with all Willow Brook positions, a criminal background check, work physical, and drug test will be conducted.
