The Heritage Restaurant of Willow Brook Christian Home in the Worthington/Columbus area seeks a part-time line cook to assist the chef/production cook in meal production, setting up the line prior to meal service, preparing food according to recipes. Line cook will focus on plate presentation and portion/diet instructions. The line cook will be responsible for proper storage of all items used on the line including breakdown, labeling, cleaning and maintaining kitchen sanitary conditions. Knowledge of food preparation, knife skills, and cooking techniques is essential for qualified applicants.
Position hours include working afternoons/evenings from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. or from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. scheduled weekdays and some weekends. Working approximately 16 to 20 hours per week.
