Housekeeping Director – Full-time – Willow Brook Christian Home – Columbus, Ohio

Due to the retirement of the Housekeeping Director after 38 years of service, we are currently seeking a full-time Housekeeping Director for our healthcare center, Willow Brook Christian Home, in north Columbus (Worthington area). The Director of Housekeeping will plan, organize, direct and carry out housekeeping and laundry services. The director will ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition at all times to provide for the care and welfare of residents in a healthful environment. This individual will also oversee the duties of the housekeeping and laundry team while working as an active member of the housekeeping team (80% hands-on housekeeping duties/ 20% supervisory duties). Job qualifications include a high school diploma, previous supervisory experience, infection control methods, knowledge of OSHA workplace safety, thorough knowledge of proper cleaning, disinfecting, floor care methods, and the operation of commercial laundry equipment. Must be able to maintain the level of cleanliness and sanitary conditions that will fulfill the objectives of the facility, the ability to positively lead and schedule employees (Kronos experience preferred), and must be able to lift, bend, and stand as needed to complete essential housekeeping and laundry duties.
