Assisted Living Director – Full-time – Willow Brook Christian Home – Columbus, Ohio

Due to the approaching out-of-state relocation of the current director, Willow Brook Christian Home is now seeking an Assisted Living Director for the renowned Assisted Living care center in north Columbus.  This is a RARE opportunity for an experienced LPN or RN to lead a top-rated, small (only 26 private rooms), high quality care center located on the second floor of the five-star rated Willow Brook Christian Home skilled nursing care center.  This role offers the perfect opportunity to truly know the residents and provide the exemplary-level patient-centered care that is unmatched in other communities.  This is the optimal position and one not currently found elsewhere.

The selected Assisted Living Director candidate will be an experienced, licensed LPN or RN and will manage, plan, organize, and direct services for the assisted living center residents in the small, family-like care center.  The Director will also be responsible for overseeing resident admissions and ensuring the ability of the care center to supply the needed services.  Managing staff, including hiring, coaching, organizing training, interpreting personnel policies, and serving as a role model of service excellence and care delivery, are important elements of this key position.  The Director will also assist in preparing annual budgets, reviewing quarterly financial statements, advising the Executive Director of immediate and long-range needs of the care center, and will coordinate inspections and state surveys.

Previous supervisory experience in geriatric nursing or an assisted living facility is highly desired.  The Director must be able to develop positive relationships with residents and family members, contributors, and volunteers, as well as promote favorable public relations in the community with excellent communication and outreach skills.  Most importantly, the Director will focus on quality service delivery to care center residents.
