Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking a companion service coordinator for our independent residents at Willow Brook at Delaware Run campus in Delaware. Work times vary depending upon resident needs. The companion coordinator will assist Willow Brook independent residents by providing non-medical, in-home support services which provide for their comfort, safety, and general assistance, as well as train, schedule appointments, and organize other companion providers to provide companion services.
Companion duties include taking residents to appointments in company-owned vehicle, light housekeeping, laundry, cooking, walks with residents, errands, medication reminders, meal preparation, pet walking etc. Coordinator aspects of this position include training, appropriate scheduling, customer service with residents/resident family members, and tracking of services for billing purposes.
Excellent communication and customer service skills and the ability to organize and multi-task are a must for this position. Previous senior care giving and/or housekeeping experience is highly desired. Must be able to work flexible hours – including daytime, evenings, and weekends.
