Dining Room Supervisor – Full-time – The Heritage Restaurant/Grapevine Grill – Willow Brook Christian Home – Columbus, Ohio

Due to an upcoming retirement, The Heritage Restaurant and The Grapevine Grill Restaurant, on the campus of 5-star rated Willow Brook near Worthington, Ohio, now seek a full-time Dining Room Supervisor. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily dining room services. The Front of House Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining proper par levels on all items needed to assist and deliver all meal delivery functions, including condition and cleanliness of related environment and service items.

Duties will include inspecting dining room set-up for meal readiness and cleanliness prior to service, assigning servers, welcoming and assisting residents with seating, and assisting servers and aides with all aspects of servicing the table, and cleaning following meals. The Supervisor will also hire, train and mentor servers and will serve as a lead server to ensure flow of service, and will be responsible for scheduling and overseeing server job duties and personnel issues. The Dining Room Supervisor will also participate in seasonal decorating in the restaurants and in other areas of the care center.

Applicants for this position should have excellent communication, and organizational skills and should display personal character in keeping with the Willow Brook mission of service, ethics, and values. The ability to work with little supervision, the ability to work with residents, guests, and staff with courtesy, tact, and graciousness, and must possess the fundamental knowledge of hospitality, customer service, table service technique, personal hygiene and appearance, the ability to stand the majority of the time, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous management experience is essential to this position. Prior restaurant supervisory experienced is preferred.
