Housekeeper or Laundry – Full-time or Part-time – Willow Brook Christian Communities – Delaware, Ohio

Willow Brook Christian Communities is currently seeking housekeepers and laundry staff for two Delaware campuses.  Known for its high standards of care,  beautiful environment, and immaculately clean setting, Willow Brook remains an exceptional employer. Opportunities are listed below:

• Housekeeper, Assisted Living, Part-time, 16 hours per week, working 1 regularly scheduled weekday and every other weekend, 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Willow Brook at Delaware Run
• Housekeeper/PCA, Twin Single Homes, Full-time, 40 hours per week, working 4 regularly scheduled weekdays, 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Willow Brook Christian Village
• Laundry/Companion, Full-time, 2:45 p.m. to 11 p.m., 40 hours per eek, working four weekdays and every other weekend at Willow Brook Christian Village

Previous housekeeping or laundry experience and a heart to serve senior adults is highly desired.  Additionally, laundry employee ensures that all laundry (linens, personal clothing, etc.) will be clean, as stain free as possible, and marked with the resident’s name. Neatly folding, laundry delivery, and placing laundry in proper storage areas are other duties of this position. The laundry employee should also ensure that the work area stays neat and clean. Job qualifications include basic communication skills and knowledge of proper washing and drying of fabrics; ability to work most of the time standing and walking; ability to bend and pick up laundry and supplies of light to heavy weight; ability to work without close supervision; and must be able to perform basic arithmetic.
